Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and Conservation Area Tree Reports
There is a general assumption by local planning authorities (LPAs) against pruning or removing protected trees without proper justification.
There are various tried and tested methods for justifying tree works and each application / report will be tailored to your particular needs.
There are three methods of delivery to help keep costs down:
- Site visit and advice - with a view to you applying to the LPA yourself.
- Site visit, advice & application submitted to the LPA without a report (this is the most common service provided - reports are usually only needed if building damage has occured).
- Site visit, advice, report prepared and application submitted to the LPA (where building damage has occurred).
